The Leader Within


So, what is a leader? What does it really take for you to be looked at as a leader? You have to be able to direct people to a clear-cut path in a single direction. You can't just offer a choice because people will get into a debate inside their own mind about it. They feel they don't have enough experience to make a good choice, and nothing will happen. The way their thinking goes, they don't know how to get to where they want to be. They will be totally happy following, so long as you grab the lead. Tell them explicitly what to do. Then their only choice is to follow you or not.

What this means is, to be a leader, you need to be certain that the actions you take make a difference. It really doesn't matter so much how you do it, so long as you do it with passion. I once saw a plaque on a wall that said, "I may not be right, but I'm never in doubt." That is the thought of an inspiring leader. People who want to achieve things in life will stay away from people in doubt. To attract the right people to your network marketing business, you need to act with certainty. That will make you magnetic.

It's always surprising how many people look to others to guide them when, if they just Googled their question, they'd have an answer. True leaders don't wait for others to make a move to do it for them. They find a model of what they want, then they figure it out and make it work. When a leader doesn't understand how to do something, they try it anyway. This isn't revolutionary. We all learn to drive by driving. Being a leader is all about having a "think REALLY big" mindset, and then doing the necessary actions. A leader absolutely knows that they are the ONLY one responsible for their future, so they do the logical actions that will bring the results they want.

And The Next Great Leader is....

Look around at who is successful in MLM,

and you will see they are all leaders. The

one way you can become a leader is to find

someone willing to follow you. The one way

that can happen is if THEY consider you

to be the guru who knows the success

secret and will reveal it to them.


People are looking for a leader who truly

believes. When you can tap into your own

bedrock core level of inner belief, you will be

astonished at how many people YOU can

inspire. Network marketers will see you as a

leader, because true motivational leaders

are few and far between. To be considered

a wizard in network marketing, all you need

is true, inspiring, motivating belief.

You're probably wondering what chance

you have to be a leader. I understand. If you

stumble in the dark looking for the right

path, how can you show it to others? The

truth is, you are very, very close to being

able to show that path to others ... even if

you aren't all that confident yet yourself.
All you need are a few skills (and, of

course, total belief).


If you are someone who

is coach-able, and if you are willing to learn

the skills, then YOU can be the star in

your chosen MLM niche. You can be the

#1 person people turn to when they can't

do it themselves. YOU can be The Wizard

of Oz for some group of people whose

future depends on finding a model they can

trust and follow.


If you truly want success in network

marketing, then you MUST become that

strong leader.


So the question is, how do you get there

from here? You see the people around you,

and there just is no one who would follow

you. And even if they would, you're at least

a bit confused as to where you would lead

them. Maybe you have some possibilities,

but there's just no certainty that's strong

enough to inspire very many people. Worse,

you have your own moments of self-doubt

when you think there's just no way you'll

ever get to the place you want in life.


Success is so far away, it's almost like a

dream. But the fact is, with the right training

and some dedicated effort on your part,

"YOU" as an inspirational leader could be

just a few weeks away ... not months or

years. Will you make a commitment to your

future?

If At First You Don't Succeed, ...Try A New Mentor!


When you first saw how network marketing worked, I'll bet you thought, "Wow! This is amazing. I think I can do this!" That's sure what I thought. You probably saw a real chance to be able to finally quit some job that you didn't much like anyway. So you'd be happier, plus you'd have more time with your family.

The MLM "Heavy Hitters" lied to you. They charged you an arm and a leg for their training. And they taught you to sell, sell, sell, recruit, recruit, recruit. Every time you looked around, they wanted you to buy something else.

It was the freedom that was most important, not the money. Unfortunately, the people leading you on
really wanted the money. Yours, actually. Jeesh! And you trusted them because they were so successful. You thought they'd help you reach financial freedom, because that would benefit them. The problem was, these guys have always gotten the good things in life was by fleecing people, not by building them.

So, after a pretty rotten start, where do you go from here? How do you really achieve financial freedom? How do you really fire your boss? I have a plan. Come back soon. I'll tell you more.

Applying The Slight Edge Effectively

To reach your MLM goals, your life must be a delicate balance of patience and urgency. You must have patience to achieve the best results, but you must always act with urgency. There is always a learning curve, whenever you start a new venture. So you must choose well ,and know you are in the right place with the right opportunity.

That belief allows you to have patience as you learn the ropes.

And remember - you can't just sit around and say, "Well, this will all work out in time." You have to actively pursue your goals at all times, and continually urge your team to do the same.

Most MLMers are used to working for a living and building someone else's business. They still have a boss, and they do what they're told. Nothing wrong with that ... but that isn't the way network marketing works. YOU are the boss, and you get up in the morning and decide whether to work your business or to watch the 42nd re-run of I Love Lucy. Guess which choice most people make?

And they grab the remote control because there is no sense of urgency. If they had a wildly burning desire to achieve goals right NOW, they wouldn't even think about the TV. They'd just go to work. THAT is the urgency people must have.

This isn't just for for yourself. You need to do it for your team, because they need a model of urgency and patience. Share your goals and long-term plan to achieve them - as a model for them. Share your day-to-day urgency, and how it affects every action you take. We all have bad habits that sabotage success, and the best tool I've found to get rid of them is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson.

Olson shows how in just a couple minutes a day, you can make time your friend, not your enemy. When you consistently do the right things in your MLM business, time works in your favor. And the more bad habits you get rid of, the easier it will be to act with urgency on the points crucial to your success. And THAT is how you can get the result you want.

Can You Relate?

Hello friend,

I hope this post finds you Making today the best day ever!


You know,it's really frustrating when you hate your job,
but you have to work, because you need the money ...
but your pay isn't anything to write home about.

We all at times think about creating some kind of extra income from home, maybe even eventually going full-time. So you google "home business" ,fill out some forms, and the phone calls start, hot and heavy.


Maybe the money isn't any big investment. But consider the time and the emotion you'd need to put into any home business in order to make it pay. The daily actions must be something you will really do. Otherwise, you'll find excuses for not doing the things that are necessary to make this opportunity make money. Is this something you can get behind 100%? Is the guy you talk to giving you a model you can follow enthusiastically?


To be successful in a one-on-one business like network marketing, you have to talk with targeted prospects and build a relationship of "know, like, and trust." Once they see you are a real person, and that you play straight with them, then they can begin to trust you. They've heard from people who they don't trust at all, and you have to overcome that.

The key skill you MUST master to be successful, is building relationships. That skill increases your ability in all aspects of life, and it's a necessity if you're building a team that will work together.
